Tally Server Port 9000

What is Tally Server Port 9000 ?

Just as you give your mobile number to others so that they can contact you, similarly to programmatically communicate with Tally, a Port Number (memory area) is required.

The default Port is 9000 which can be changed either using the option “Gateway of Tally > F12 > Advanced Configuration” or you can set it directly in the Tally.ini file using ServerPort=9000 option
